Setics has published an article about the importance of being able to produce very large scale (regional or countrywide) High-Level Designs of FTTH networks in the context of public tenders in Europe and elsewhere. Doing so requires the ability to handle massive amounts of data and run very high-performance design automation algorithms. It is expected that the COVID-19 crisis will be a driver for new tenders in the context of publicly funded projects in rural areas.
