Maarten Egmond has been contributing to technology and product development in the FTTH industry for 20 years, currently serving as CTO of Genexis, as chair of the In-home Broadband Excellence committee of the FTTH Council Europe and participating in the European Commission's Code of Conduct on Energy Consumption of Broadband Equipment. His background originally is in Information Technology as well as Applied Physics and before diving into FTTH, started his career in R&D of optical components for long-haul networks.
